Why you should use a quantitative approach for value investing

This paper argues that successful investing is simple but not easy. It is not easy because of our emotions: fear and greed. These two emotions leads us to make poor investment decisions. The way to get around this is to use a proven quantitative method of value investing and not worry about short-term fluctuations. Can we do that? It is simple but not easy.
