This is not wishful thinking.
When we do a particular thing repeatedly, the part of our brain that is responsible for doing that thing becomes bigger. This phenomenon is called neuroplasticity. This has been proven scientifically.
This means our abilities are not fixed by genetic make up. Practice can make things perfect. This means that our potential for intellectual and personal growth are not fixed.
So change is possible? How much? Probably unlimited.
If we do the things that create positive change, that change can be real and lasting. But we should do the things. Having the knowledge of the things that will cause change is not enough. We need to do them, not just talk about them.
