The sea so wide and vast and generous,
Absorbing all into its loving arms,
Melting everything it into its oneness.
Snow capped glaciers melting into rivers,
Flow and become one with the sea.
The garbage made by the world,
Melts into insignificance in its bosom.
The true being we all are
Is like that sea.
Melting into it,
Silences body, breath, feelings and mind,
Disease, anxiety, problems and thoughts,
Goals, ambitions, dreams and fears,
Past, present and future
All left is stillness –
The stillness of the sea depths,
The stillness of the sky clouds,
The stillness of the cold ice,
The stillness of the warm fire,
The stillness that exists behind all,
The stillness that we are.
