Everything bears the divine fingerprint, footprint or similitude. Ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all.
All things counter, original, spare, strange,
Whatever is fickle, freckled, who knows how?
with swift, slow, sweet, sour, adazzle, dim,
He fathers-forth whose beauty is past change. Praise Him.
Strike upon the cloud of unknowing with the sharp dart of longing love. Come what may, never give up. Continue to be faithful, not knowing.
There is nothing so obscure or contemptible in which some marks of the power and wisdom of God may not be seen.
Beauty is truth shining into being. Beauty is truth, truth beauty. Beauty works out of the unconscious, is not practical, cannot be quantified, is not efficient, and cannot be ‘used’ for very long without corrupting either the art or the artist.
We are here to abet Creation and to witness it, to notice each thing so that each thing gets noticed. Together we notice not only each Mountain shadow and each stone on the beach, but we notice each other’s beautiful face and complex nature so that Creation need not play to an empty house. If you notice anything, it leads you to notice more and more.

Let your gaze stay with the awareness that God is in you and in this object, that you are both part of a universe that is an ongoing creation of Love.
Doubt is a lack, not a crime. Negativity is a habit to which the immature human heart naturally goes. As you let divine love erode that fear, you’ll learn to feel the power of no-ego, that God is in you and you are in God.

But the pot he was shaping from the clay was spoiled in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.
Then the word of the Lord came to me. He said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares the Lord. “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel.
